Renewals

Any regularly circulating item may be renewed up to 12 times, provided another borrower has not placed a hold or recall on it.

There are certain materials which may not be renewed . These items may be checked out again, if they have not been requested by another borrower, by:

  • Bringing them into the Main Library or Science-Engineering Library and checking them in and then back out on the Express Check Machine.
  • Bringing the item(s) to an Information Desk.

Any regularly circulating item may be renewed without bringing it in by:

Overdue materials can be renewed online if they are within the 21-day grace period ( i.e. the status says "overdue" not "billed") and are not on hold or recall.
