Online Appeal Form


This form should be used to notify the University of Arizona Library of possible billing errors related to your University of Arizona Library account. Library staff will review your account and respond to you within one business day.

Please note that the following are not grounds for disputing late fees and replacement charges:

  • A lack of knowledge of University of Arizona Library borrowing policies.
  • Being out of town. Library borrowing policies are in effect throughout the year – there are no exceptions for university holidays. If you plan on travelling outside of Tucson for more than 10 business days, you should consider making arrangements for returning items that may be recalled or overdue.
  • Failure to receive library notices of any kind. (Except in instances where a notice was not sent due to equipment error.)
  • Failure to notify the library of a lost Catcard/library card in a timely manner.
  • This list is not all inclusive. Please provide as much detail in the comments box below.

An item is still on your record that you believe you have returned.
Disputing items that have been returned may take up to two (2) weeks to be processed, since a search will need to take place.
