Description: * Do you dread writing your bibliography more than you do writing your paper?
* Do you have trouble keeping track of your references and sources for your paper?
* Do you find MLA, APA, Chicago Manual and other citation styles a pain?
If you answered "yes," to any of these questions, RefWorks is for you! RefWorks is a citation organization and management tool that the UA Libraries provides to you for free. It allows you to gather and organize your article and book citations for a variety of projects.
RefWorks is a wonderful tool because:
(1) It keeps the links that connect you to the full text of the articles you’ve found.
(2) RefWorks accounts can be shared by a group working collaboratively.
(3) It will add the citations to your paper while you are writing and will assist you in creating a bibliography.
The library is offering three walk-in workshops this fall to introduce you to the basics of RefWorks. The workshops will be held in the Main Library, Information Commons Computer Classroom. A112. Sessions will be held on:
Tuesday, October 24th 3:30 -5:00 PM
Thursday, November 9th 10:30 -12:00 noon
Tuesday, November 14th 1:00-2:30 PM
No reservations needed -- Just show up!
