Group Study Rooms
Group study rooms are available around the perimeters of the Main Library Information Commons as well as on the other floors of the library, Science-Engineering Library and Fine Arts Library. Two rooms in the Main IC are reservable.

Presentation Practice Rooms
Rooms are available with the tools and space to practice presentations, record them, and play them back for self-evaluation. Each room contains a video camera, a microphone and software packages to record the act of a presentation in front of the wall-mounted LCD monitor.

Policies:
- CATCARD required
- RESERVATIONS required (although walk-ups may be accommodated if rooms are available)
- Main Library IC: RESERVE at Info Commons Help Desk or call (520) 621-6442, 621-6443
- Science Library IC: RESERVE at Help Desk or call (520) 621-6384
- Reserve in 30 minute blocks up to a maximum of 2 hours
- Rooms can be renewed for 2 hours if there are no other requests.
- Rooms cannot be reserved more than 1 month in advance
- No more than 2 reservation requests can be made at once.
- If you don’t show after 15 minutes, you lose your reservation
- NO FOOD - NO DRINK
- KEEP ROOM CLEAN
- Users are responsible for any breakage, damage and/or missing equipment
Printing
Laser printing - black/white, color, using CatCard or Copy/Print Card
Large format printing - available at Main Library Photocopy Center
Printing is available from all Main IC, Science IC, Fine Arts IC and CCP Library computers, and from most loaner laptops.
Wireless printing from personal laptops (Windows XP and Vista) using UAWiFi is available. See instructions for downloading and installing software for this.
Help
Research and computer assistance during all hours the Information Commons is open: Ask A Librarian!
Wireless
Wireless for laptops is available in the Main Library Information Commons and ILC classrooms, the courtyard, north and south staircases, and the Bookends Café. The UAPublic (unsecured) network is open to anyone, while UAWiFi (secure) is only available to those with UA NetIDs.

Writing assistance & other Tutoring
Writing assistance is available to students through the Writing Center, which is now part of the Think Tank. Drop-in assistance is now available at their new location in the Nugent Building. (The Writing Center Satellite, formerly located in Main Library Information Commons 110B, has been discontinued as of Fall 2009.)
