There is a memorial exhibit for the USS Arizona on the ground floor of the
Student Union Memorial Building at the base of the bell tower containing the
bell from the USS Arizona. It contains a
selection of photos, artifacts and documents on loan from the library's
Special Collections.
The University of Arizona Library's Special Collections contains a large
range of papers, photographs, and memorabilia of the USS Arizona
from its
christening to destruction, and of the memorial ceremonies held at the
University of Arizona Student Union every year.
Materials from the UA Library Special Collections Department are identified throughout this Web exhibit by the Arizona Collection accession number or by a link to the catalog record of the collection to which they belong.
